About this campaign
Every t-shirt we sell helps a girl from an underserved Illinois community attend our STEMgirls Camp (25 shirts = 1 camper).
STEMgirls Camp is a 5-day STEM Summer camp for 3rd-8th grade girls. Programming includes cool hands-on activities, sessions with STEM professionals and a field trip. Campers explore a wide range of careers related to feeding, fueling, healing and saving the world!
iBIO Institute's mission is to deliver industry-led STEM programs that inspire the next generation of innovators and help to diversify the STEM talent pipeline. Our two programs, Stellar Girls and STEMgirls Summer Camp, connect girls with the real world of STEM through hands-on engineering activities, interaction with STEM professionals, STEM-related field trips and interdisciplinary problem-centered learning experiences.
Since 2003, we have helped to improve opportunities for high quality STEM education and career exploration for over 122,000 students in Illinois.
iBIO's program results are truly remarkable. Stellar Girls gain and average of 18 percentage points in STEM content from pre-test to post-test. 44% more girls are interested in pursuing STEM careers as a result of the Stellar Girls programs.
