IICOLAM - Latin American and Caribbean Bat Congress -2017

The Latin American and Caribbean Bat Congress (COLAM) is the main international forum for scientific exchange and dialogue on bat conservation experiences in the region, which is developed every three years. On August 2014 in Quito, Ecuador, El Salvador was chosen to host the Second COLAM, during the dates of November 20- 23, 2017 under the slogan of this second congress is "A decade for the conservation of bats" as a commemoration of the 10 years of hard work for benefits of bats in Latin America and the Caribbean. The Bat Conservation Program of El Salvador is the host for this event with the help of the Latin American and Caribbean Network for Bats Conservation (RELCOM) and Asociación Territorios Vivos El Salvador (ATVES). The financial support is essential to ensure the success of this event. For this reason, we extend a cordial invitation to be part of the campaign. The support will be used to reduce the costs of the event and the participants, especially those from students of the region.
