Since opening in 1999, the IRC in Baltimore has welcomed and resettled over 14,000 refugees, asylum seekers, and other humanitarian immigrants to central Maryland from countries as diverse as Democratic Republic of Congo, Afghanistan, El Salvador, and Ukraine.

Through our variety of supportive services we ensure that new Americans have access to housing, healthcare, education, employment, and immigration legal services to ensure they have everything they need to thrive in their new home.
