About this campaign
Since opening in 2006, the IRC in Silver Spring has welcomed and resettled over 10,000 refugees, asylum seekers, and other humanitarian immigrants to the suburban Washington area from countries as diverse as Democratic Republic of Congo, Afghanistan, El Salvador, and Ukraine.
Through our variety of supportive services we ensure that new Americans have access to housing, healthcare, education, employment, and immigration legal services to ensure they have everything they need to thrive in their new home.
