Isa Infante for Governor of Tennessee

The Green Party of Tennessee’s candidate for Governor isIsa Infante and we ask your support for this inspiring woman. Isa is attracting voters from both major parties as well as from independents across the state. Isa is eminently qualified and if elected would be Tennessee’s first woman governor.

Isa is an African/Hispanic woman who holds a Ph.D. in political science (B.A. and Ph.D. at the U. of California; M.A. at Yale) and a law degree from the Northeastern School of Law, Boston. She has taught political science at the university level, served as an academic dean, and worked for the U.S. Department of Education and at the White House in Washington, D.C. She has also served as a consultant to a wide range of legal, political, community, and international development organizations. Previously she was elected to public service in New York, California, and Connecticut. In the 90s she also performed bluegrass music even touring internationally for one year.

Isa’s platform is focused on A Living Wage, Workers’ Rights to Organize, Free Healthcare and Education For All, Social Justice and Local control of our Communities and A Clean Environment.
