About this campaign

We were so blown away by how this message resonated with so many people on our May 7th launch day! We have received an outpouring of messages and encouragement and so excited to continue to share this message!

Our hope is that people will post pictures of themselves and friends on instagram and social media sharing this message!!! Will you join us?

Last February, my son Ethan was bedridden for 23 days with pretty serious pneumonia. The first week he was sick, he didn't have a single friend reach out. I made excuses for them that first week of "oh they are busy". The next week went by and no contact from his friends. Not only was he physically very sick, he was depressed. The third week came and went. . . and my momma bear went from making excuses, to being upset, to being sad. I realized that it wasn't for the lack of caring that his friends weren't reaching out, it was because they just weren't thinking how much a single text could mean. I knew his friends were constantly on the phone scrolling through and that it would literally only take SEVEN SECONDS to stop and send a quick text to say "I'm thinking of you!" or "How are you doing?" or "__________"?

STOP THE SCROLL. SEE THE NEED. SEND THE TEXT.

Stop scrolling aimlessly with no purpose. Look around and see who might need some encouragement. AND SEND A TEXT to spread kindness and hope.

Life is not easy and we need each other. We have access to communicate like never before in history. Let's use our phones with purpose and intentionality.

This is just the beginning of what we hope to be a huge nationwide movement!
