Known for her role as the ‘Young Jane’ in the Golden Globe winning series, “Jane the Virgin,” talented actress Jenna Ortega currently stars in the new Disney Channel series, “Stuck in the Middle.” Jenna plays Harley, a creative and engineering whiz kid who is navigating life as the middle child in a family of seven children. The series is told from Harley's perspective and premiered March 2016.

In addition to “Stuck in the Middle,” Jenna can be seen in the Rockettes NY Spectacular all summer long in New York City. Jenna has relocated to New York to perform at the famous Radio City Music Hall. The new show will run from June 15th to August 7th.

Born in Coachella Valley, California, Jenna began acting when she was eight. Her television credits include "CSI: New York" and "Days of our Lives." She has also since gone on to appear in feature films such as "Insidious: Chapter 2" and "Iron Man 3."

In her spare time, Ortega enjoys playing soccer, cheerleading, reading and hanging out with her friends and dog, Anna. She currently resides in Coachella Valley and, like Harley, is the middle child in a large family (the fourth of six children).

As a elementary school counselor, I have the ability to shape the minds and attitudes of young people. I encourage my students to make a change by standing up for themselves and being upstanders (rather than bystanders) to put an end to bullying.
