Jessica has been diagnosed with ALL, a (what the docs say) is a popular type of leukemia. She's been going through illness after illness for monthts, but after finding a lump on her neck on Saturday, 9/17, there were doctor visits and blood tests that had us all realize she had leukemia. She was in the hospital from Monday, 9/19 to Saturday, 9/24. She responded to chemotherapy rather well, and she'll continue her 30-day extensive chemo, and then will move to 2.5 YEARS of chemo. After her initial 30-day mark, they will review results to see how to proceed with the next 2.5 years (how much chemo, schedules per week, etc).
