UPDATE Our group in its small, initial meeting has agreed on endorsing:
Jill Stein/Ajamu Baraka (GREENS!) for President,
Dave Koller for Congress (D) (FL's 11th District)
Alan Grayson (D) for Senate- pending the Democratic primary Aug 30. RENAMED: "Citrus County Progressive Coalition" while locally educating, correcting false perceptions re Greens, third party/independent politics in general; also to avoid any conflict with GPUS, Green Party of FL- until we can establish a formal collaboration.
A MINIMUM OF 30% of ALL profit received will be immediately sent to Jill's national campaign;
The remainder- for organizing a a TRULY PROGRESSIVE alternative to the Democratic Party within Citrus County, FL (Facebook Group-Citrus County Progressive Coalition)AND promoting progressive/Green/Independent (indeed, any like-minded party)causes and candidates locally and throughout central Florida.

Any remaining funds may be allocated as ADDITIONAL Donations to Jill's national campaign and/or various local and state causes/campaigns as mentioned- all decisions to be made democratically upon formal convening of this local organization.
