About this campaign

Purchasing this shirt helps our Production team that really suffered a set-back:
A Guest Engineer (not associated with JF or Production) was at the console during JF2014 when over $6000.00 in damage was done to the sound system. We want to help the production company get back on their feet. Please help!

This fundraiser is designed to help pay for the damaged speakers caused when a guest sound engineer was at the controls. On Saturday afternoon Joshua fest attendee’s experienced a very loud boom at the opening of one of the bands. The noise was caused by a couple of unforeseen issues not related to the sound company. The sound engineers who have worked so hard for many years at Joshua Fest did everything they could to fix the damaged speaker for the remainder of the evening. At the close of Thousand Foot Krutch, the sound company worked into the wee hours of the morning to repair the damaged speakers. After a 19-hour day we had a working speaker system for Sunday morning worship. We would like to ask for your help to pay the cost of the repair. The band is unable to pay for the repair to the tune of $6000.00, we do not want to put that cost on the sound company who has given the Joshua Fest organization a very low price on the gear for years.

Geez one year it's amps; the next it's speakers! Poor Tolar. And now everyone knows why sound companies/engineers don't like "guest engineers". Especially amateurs! Hang in there Bob, and kudos to JF for trying to make it right!

JF is a great event comprised of great people and for an even greater cause. Can't say I'm looking forward to more blown speakers, but I'm certainly ready for the next JF!!

JoshuaFest was a great time, and I'd love to go back next year with a sound system intact :-)
