About this campaign

Be a voice for the voiceless, Nala and her unborn puppies were needlessly killed. Help make a statement to stop bullying the breed. We are trying to raise funds for legal fees, neocropsy, education, animal cruelty, any funds left after legal fees will go towards the good of other pit bulls, foster care, welping strays, rescuing those in danger.

For those who are not personal friends of ours as we arrived home from our weekend Family vacation yesterday we come to find police, animal control, family and neighbors standing by. We had a dog sitter stay over the weekend, when our lab/pit mix jumped the fence and approached one of two dogs walking by the owner of the other dog said he did not charge them in an attacking manner, viciously or aggressively, they were sniffing each other and when the dog sitter came out to retrieve him and left the gate open, our female pit bulls then came out of the gate and as our lab/mix and German sheppard were investigating each other, then a fight started. Our male and youngest dog grabbed him by the ears and face and our pregnant female grabbed his back leg. Our youngest pup Memphis (Nala's 15 month old baby) and the lab mix were calmed and neighbors put them in our house. Another man who came to help, grabbed Nala as she went into submission, he laid on top of Nala and had her in some kind of choke hold. She struggled to get away and he did not let up when she began to show signs of distress, until she stopped breathing, killing her and her unborn puppies that were due in 10 days. Currently there is an investigation going on through animal control and the police department. This was extreme force and Nala did not have to die no other dogs died in this incident and its takes a good amount of strength to strangle any living being. Nala did not even fight back, he could have gotten her in my yard or home safely just like the others. I also went to the vet to check on the german shepard, he is doing well and is back home. We have went to visit him and We are covering his medical expenses. Meanwhile our lab/pit and pitbull are currently quarantined for the next few days. Our lab/mix has injuries to his face and neck as well from being beating with an ice scraper. What could have been a dog social went horribly wrong. The owner of the other dog was not the person who killed Nala and he agrees excessive force was not necessary. All dogs went into submission and two came home safely.
