Karen's Stompin' out Kidney Cancer

In October of 2023, after agonizing back pain Karen was diagnosed with Stage 4 Renal Cell Carcinoma aka Kidney Cancer. The initial mass found was over 8cm in diameter, and the cancer spread to her lungs, and many bones. In December of 2023 Karen fractured her femur, and back as a result of cancer lesions. She spent two long weeks in Albany Medical Center as she waited for, and recovered from her mega-prosthesis operation. Karen had home based physical and occupational therapy to aide her recovery, and in May 2024 began outpatient physical therapy. Throughout this journey, Karen has continued to maintain her "peace and love" attitude. She has a whole crew behind her, and what better way to show your support by rocking a tie dye. Cancer chose the wrong Karen, we all know that!
