About this campaign
Kaylee’s Kindness is a donation project to Nemours A.I. DuPont hospital for children - Cardiac ICU in memory of our daughter Kaylee.
We will be raising funds for donations of blankets, bows, hats, socks, and mittens for both boys and girls.
Our first donation will be on Kaylee's FIRST birthday in July!
Kaylee was born July 2018 with a complex Congenital Heart Defect, and spent her 4 months in the CICU fighting for her life and eventually waiting for a new heart. In November of 2018 she gained her angel wings.
While Kaylee was in the hospital it brought us joy to dress her up in the cutest blankets and bows, hats and socks when possible, because she wasn’t able to wear clothes. We were told a lot of families didn’t bring these items in and I was really surprised. It was the ONE thing I could do for her, and made me feel like Mom. In her memory, we want to bring that same joy to other families who are experiencing what we had to go through.
