Founded in 1978. Special Days Camps is the second longest running oncology camp in the world and serves more than 300 campers annually. Special Days is a leader in helping families fight the impact of childhood cancer. Three camps sessions are offered - Special Days Camp, provides for children that have cancer a fun week-long summer camp experience under the watchful eye of skilled doctors, nurses, and a well-trained staff; Special Days Partner Camp, we recognize that cancer affects the whole family. Often a sibling can feel left out because of the attention a family must place on the child with cancer. We don’t want anyone to feel left out — ever! So Partners Camp, a separate weeklong program exclusively for the siblings of children with cancer, was born. Siblings can experience all the fun, support, and growth that their brother or sister gets to experience; plus Winter Camp, at Special Days we truly thrive on the connections we create. Simply put, going an entire year without seeing the family can be tough, so we designed a Winter Camp Reunion. During this fast paced weekend, children with cancer and their siblings get together for some intense fun.
