Kendra Nicaragua Fund for Life Church Missions Trip

As a body, Life Church takes two yearly trips down to Nicaragua with the Nicaraguan Resource Network in order to encourage, love, and support groups of people who live in an impoverished and difficult region. We have multiple areas of ministry that we implement. We participate in food distributio while we are there, help to build different items that they need in their village or with their church, interview unsponsored children at the school in the village of La Concha, and many more. The specific village that we visitbajd support as a sister church is La Concha, Bethesda Iglesia, and their pastor, Pastor Inez. When planning to go on this missions trip in April, I thought that it would be a good experience for me to have culturally. I never thought that it would change my life. Once I allowed God to use me in the ways that he needed, I no longer felt as if I was there to bless the people of La Concha, but instead that they were meant to bless me. I cannot wait to go back and spend stone with my new Nica family, encouraging one another and sharing the gospel with those in need. This is a photo of my sponsee, Elisabeth she is five years old, and just one of the many young children who now has the opportunity to receive an education, learn about God, and have the hope that there is a brighter future available for her.
