About this campaign

Kindness Ranch offers sanctuary to animals previously used in laboratory research. We strive to provide these animals with the best care possible. Please consider ordering a shirt to help with our growing veterinary costs.

Kindness Ranch is a unique, 1,000-acre animal sanctuary located in the rolling hills of Hartville, Wyoming, just three hours north of Denver, Colorado.

We provide a place for former research and laboratory animals to live their lives, and, when ready, help them move on to their forever homes. Those who are too debilitated, old, or ill to be placed in loving homes can remain on the ranch to live out their days, surrounded by caretakers and volunteers who put the animals' well-being first.

We offer sanctuary to not only dogs and cats, but also care for horses, sheep, pigs, and cows. Over 60 animals might call Kindness Ranch home at any given time. We have a small but hardworking staff, all of who live on site. This allows us to provide the best possible hands-on care for all of our animals.

Many of the animals who come to the ranch have at least minor medical issues that require ongoing care. In addition to routine medications and supplements that must be replenished every month, there are also non-routine injuries, and occasional emergencies, that need to be attended to. Having a sufficient vet care fund is crucial to Kindness Ranch's mission, and will allow the organization to continue to grow and care for as many animals as possible.

The Kindness Ranch is not just a place for the animals, it is a great place for them as they try to find their forever home, but the wonderful people that make the ranch their home are the ones that make it all possible. Thank you all so much for all
