About this campaign

Cancer changes so much in an instant. This is a way for us to surround Kyna and her family with love and support while they focus on what matters most—her health and healing.

IMG_6948jpg On Tuesday, September 15, Kyna was diagnosed with colon cancer. She had an upset stomach over the weekend, but Dustin took her to the ER on Monday when she was feeling very faint and jittery. The emergency care team did an abdominal scan and found a mass on the colon and spots on other organs. Since then, Kyna has undergone several tests to pinpoint the locations and type of colon cancer. She has had a port placed and will begin treatment soon. The treatment plan is set to be finalized next week.

This is of course very scary, but Kyna is ready to fight! She is amazingly strong and healthy for someone with this diagnosis. And she knows the goodness of the God of Great Hope to walk with her in every step of this process. https://url.caringbridge.org/kSsXsV
