About this campaign
Why preserving heritage instead of history, you might ask. Preserving heritage refers to the preservation of both tangible and intangible objects. At the museum it is as important to us to preserve the legacy of Laura Ingalls Wilder and the pioneer way of life as it is to preserve the physical objects that belonged to the Wilders. To fulfill this the Preservation Department at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum supports the museums programing goals including the summer camps, pop up makers sessions, and scheduled group activities. Additionally, it funds the preservation of Mrs. Wilder's belongings such as the furniture in the house.

Keeping our family legacy alive. Played Toddor Rose Wilder with my twin sister and actually related to Ingalls family
Helping the family legacy!
I am a member of the Ingalls family and eager to see our legacy continue. Please keep me informed of future events.
I’ve always had passion and intrigue for Laura. Growing up in Mansfield, I feel like she’s always been a part of my life. I love supporting a wholesome cause for others to enjoy.
I am supporting this group because I love learning the history of Laura Ingllas Wilder and the historical facts, I would likke to see his continue, so that we can continue to learn and enjoy it.
Laura's the reason I got into history in the first place. I was obsessed with her as a kid (visited the Mansfield house in 4th grade) and now I work in living history myself! This fundraiser is a great idea!
Crazy about all this since 1962.
Working here, I know how important it is to preserve Laura's beautiful items. Plus, this is a great bag!
