About this campaign

This fundraiser is here to help provide funds for the many programs that the WEX Foundation runs, especially the Lunar Caves Analog Test Sites (LCATS) program. The LCATS program is a three-year space STEM for upper middle and high schoolers to learn about engineering and tackle real problems that affect lunar habitation.

WEX Foundation was founded to advance middle and high school education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects by integrating space exploration technology with project-based learning to create a robust space technology workforce that will enable people to live on other planets. As a ‘NASA Informal Education Community Anchor,’ WEX Foundation serves as a local and regional community resource that addresses identified community needs related to SPACE STEM engagement and shares knowledge of NASA STEM Engagement learning resources and opportunities that can help meet those needs.
