From Leveling Up to Earning Your Stripes

Last year, we introduced a new way to motivate and celebrate our students through our Virtual Video Game and Level Up incentive program. Students could see their progress, work toward the next level, and earn recognition for their accomplishments.

What started as a fun idea quickly became something much bigger: students were engaged, competing with themselves, and excited to see how far they could level up. We learned something important—students respond when they can see their progress, work toward meaningful goals, and celebrate their accomplishments. This year, we're taking that idea to the next level with Leopard Dojo. Instead of leveling up in a virtual video game, our students will have opportunities to rank up through the Dojo, earning their stripes and working toward higher belt levels as they demonstrate effort, growth, achievement, positive choices, and commitment to success. And just like in a martial arts dojo, the goal isn't to become a black belt overnight. It's about the journey, the discipline, and becoming better than you were before.

The money raised through this fundraiser will go directly into our Student Activity Fund to support the Student Success Incentive Program, including the raffle entries and prizes students can earn throughout the year.
