LAY IT DOWN. is a National Campaign compelling American Christians to lay down 1M guns. Using a variety of Arts/Entertainment mediums and platforms, Campaign content will explore the racial/ethnic fears behind gun consumption; expose the Christian Nationalism that often fuels devaluing of others; and unmask the ways “othering” can lead to targeted hate crimes with weapons. The Campaign brings together lay Christians and local Faith Leaders in twenty cities across the US, with acclaimed and uniquely situated Research, Organizing, Media/Entertainment, Marketing and Fundraising Consultants - all to create and distribute timely, quality content to build social cohesion; address hate within and across communities; and protect the rights of all Americans to attend school, shop in grocery stores, drive our streets, pray in church and cheer on sporting events without fear.

Young Believers, Believers of Color, and those passionately pursuing Freedom and Justice are on the frontlines of the biggest issues of our day. We have an appetite for fresh spaces and content that grapple with how our faith can engage the world and shape the future of the Church. There’s a hunger for honesty, equity, freedom and justice in our faith communities, our world and in the media we consume. There is a need for critical content and conversations around the future of the Global Church. Through innovative content, events and gatherings, [GOSPEL] is championing a new era of the Church - where Christians are known for unity, love, eradicating inequity and recognizing purpose & destiny in all.
