CLB-6 is a combat logistics battalion, so our mission was to run logistics convoys to all the bases in the Helmand Province, moving vital supplies like food, water, fuel and ammo. There are no roads in most of the Helmand Province, so we were traveling over very rough terrain and were subject to enemy IED and small arms attacks on every mission. The Marines lived up to their legacy with courage and determination to get the mission done. There are no books telling the Combat Logistics Marines' Afghanistan story...until now!
Oh, and remember kids, MCO P1020.34G states that you can't wear this bad boy in uniform. Best keep this one for off-duty hours and black ops...
