Limitless Drama

A couple of years ago, I had an idea for a story about a superhero who a woman and a minority. I believe that kids today need to have someone to look up to that looks like them. We need more stories where the ethnic make-up is equally divided. Kids need to see themselves as more than thugs, criminals or angry people fighting to survive. They need to see themselves as a hero. They need to know that there is more to them than what they see on the news. They needed a story and I needed a story as well. I was lost in world using drugs and alcohol to ease my pain. I was struggling to find my purpose in life. When I 14 my father died of kidney failure and I slipped into a deep depression that took me 13 years to overcome. I didn’t know my worth so ended up in abusive relationship after abusive relationship. I felt so alone that I would accept anything just to have someone in my life. I got married at 21 to man that use to abuse me physically, verbally and emotional. I was a good girl who was raised in the church who had so many values and morals that let life break me. I ended up stripping, being arrested for drugs and getting a DUI. I needed a hero so I created one. Writing about a hero gave me the strength to become a hero for myself. I thought I was unworthy of God’s love after everything I had done. Everyone I asked for help didn’t understand my situation or me. I often felt judged and ridiculed by my peers. People who only give me the cleaned PG version of how they made it or pretend that they were always perfect. I wanted and needed somebody real. When I started to get back into God and Church God asked me, “Why not you?” At moment I took it upon myself to start back writing. On my blog I address all issues racism, homosexuality, violence, abuse, drug addiction, alcoholism, faith and struggle. Most of all I talk about love. I teach people all over the world to love themselves and one another, to put aside their differences and love the way God intended, unconditionally.

Limitless Drama is a storytelling ministry that discusses real life situations through fictional and non-fictional stories. We often learn the valuable lessons in life too late. We end up looking back and feeling like the best years of life have already pasted us by. Why not learn right now what it will take some people years and a lot of pain to discover? I, Aquila Taite the author am a former stripper, drug addict and alcoholic who found God and purpose through writing about my life. I use my blog to teach people lessons i learned while on my journey to self-discovery. From a failed marriage to being arrested my blog compiles every human emotion or situation you face when you are lost in the world. This blog is meant to help readers find their way and their purpose through difficult situations so they can become more productive people. I strive to help people realize that they aren't alone and there is a way back from the darkness. I have always loved movies and the art of writing. I love how stories unfold visually on screen and affect the audience’s emotions. I want to do the same thing with the stories i post on my blog and affect change in people. When I was a kid I loved to get lost in books and movies, i still do. Reading and watching movies took me to a better more exciting place than my reality and sometimes to a more frightening place as well. I have that discovered that books and movie make unrelateable situations relateable. When people are forced to visualize situations by well-written stories and movies they can't help but feel something. I started writing when I was seven years old and the first thing I wrote was a poem. I also write songs, short stories and novels covering several different genres, situations and cultures.
