About this campaign

We hope that you will join us May 4, 2019. Registration begins at 9am at the football field entry gate. We will have light refreshments and even karaoke after! Registration fees are $5 for students and $10 for adults. Any donation above the registration fee is appreciated. $25 gives one person access to clean water for life!

The Lago Vista High School Humanities Club is hosting our 2nd Annual Walk for Water. As a club, we are striving to become local and global citizens. Globally, we are trying to play a part in solving the world water crisis. We are very passionate about this issue for the following reasons and more. 840+ million people worldwide are living without access to safe drinking water. One-third of schools around the world do not have access to clean water. 443 million school days are missed every year by students because of water-related illnesses. 200 million hours are spent every day by women and girls collecting water.
