About this campaign

CureSearch for Children’s Cancer is a national non-profit foundation that accelerates the search for cures for children’s cancer by driving innovation, transcending research barriers and solving the field’s most challenging problems. We do this in three ways:

• We accelerate the search for cures by posing essential challenges to scientists and inviting teams to overcome them with innovative research approaches.

• We transcend the barriers of a broken research system by establishing new pathways to end children’s cancer.

• We provide resources and education, so no child faces a cancer diagnosis without a fully equipped support team.

Ultimately, CureSearch is working to change the odds for those children most at risk.

#MakeItGoldForKids is a social media campaign taking place during September for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (CCAM). The goal of the campaign is to build awareness about the need for innovative research to find cures for children's cancer. This year, CureSearch is calling on our supporters to take action and #MakeItGoldForKidson all social media platforms! GET INVOLVED

Here are a few easy ways to support ouf #MakeItGoldForKidscampaign: Wear gold clothing (This Booster T--Shirt), jewelry, make-up, nail polish, ribbons, and watches. Snap a photo in your Booster T-shirt or other gold apparel and post a Goldie (a gold selfie) to your social media with #MakeItGoldForKids Decorate your office, classroom, or car with the color gold. Ask elected officials, stadiums, and celebrities to#MakeItGoldForKids.Be creative and create your own #MakeItGoldForKidsphotos and videos. BECOME A GOLD GETTERWe're asking supporters like you to serve as our CCAM Gold Getters. As a Gold Getter, you will post your own personal #MakeItCountForKidsphoto/video on social media during CCAM launch day, Tuesday, September 1.
