About this campaign

Team McKinley's Army is raising money in honor of McKinley for March of Dimes.  The team is hoping to get enough t-shirts sold, not only to allow each team member to be able to purchase a team shirt, but so that everyone who has followed McKinley can wear this t-shirt always in support of saving babies lives everywhere!  Your donations indeed make you a "Baby Saver"  :)

McKinley was born at 24 weeks gestation on April 14, 2014, nearly 4 months early. She weighed 1 lb 7 oz. Due to the research of March of Dimes, McKinley was offered surfactant. Without this, she would not have been able to breathe. We became involved with March of Dimes when they visited our NICU in Duluth a week after McKinley was born. Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. We have been so blessed that McKinley is a fighter and defied all odds. Today, McKinley is 10 months old, weighing over 14 lbs and is thriving. We're walking in March for Babies because we want to ensure others are given the opportunity to have such a positive outcome as well. And we need your help.

All children need a chance to survive & thrive. In McKinley's case, she is special to us because she is our granddaughter. We are so thankful & greatful to everyone who played a part in her survival. She is definitely a blessing, as all children are.
