About this campaign
Earlier this year our sweet friend Casey started experiencing facial numbness, headaches, nausea, impaired speech and exhaustion and was hospitalized after what they believed was a minor stroke.
She left the hospital with no answers only to continue feeling the same with little relief. Once again she found herself in the ER of another hospital and once discharged was at least able to walk out with some explanations, they found a brain aneurysm and two nodules on her parotid glad. Next step... neurosurgeon but her journey is only beginning!
Mended: repair something that is broken or damaged. return to health. improve an unpleasant situation.
Casey wears this word proudly on her wrist, as a reminder that she is mended. Nothing life throws as her will break her.
With medical bills already mounting, and no end in the near future any financial support we can offer at this time is a blessing to this sweet family.
We know that cancer didn't break her, this won't either. Casey is MENDED.
