About this campaign

Dorchester County EMS is proud to announce our Suicide Awareness & Mental Health Awareness Fundraiser Shirt Sale! These shirts are more than just apparel—they’re a conversation starter, a reminder that help is available, and a way to show support for those who may be silently struggling.

Every day, first responders, healthcare professionals, friends, family members, and neighbors witness the impact that mental health challenges can have on individuals and families. By wearing one of these shirts, you’re helping spread a message of hope, compassion, and understanding while encouraging others to break the stigma surrounding mental health.

We’re honored to share that 100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated locally to the Lucas Nagel Memorial Fund, supporting mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and those affected within our own community.

If you or someone you know is struggling, remember that help is always available. Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Together, we can make a difference—one conversation, one act of kindness, and one shirt at a time.

Wear the message. Start the conversation. Support your community. Break the stigma.

Per Chief Wheedleton, beginning in September, Dorchester EMS employees may wear the shirts from the Suicide Awareness and Mental Health Awareness fundraisers year round as part of our uniform.
