We are the Ayers family, Adam, Kara, and Hannah. We are eager to open our hearts, home, and lives to our newest planned addition, Elijah. In almost every way, Adam and I are your typical parents:
-We talk excessively about every little thing Hannah does
-We worry about the state of the world and wonder how to protect her without holding her back.
-We sleep a little and laugh alot.
Having a family was never guaranteed for us and we don't take a day of our beautiful lives for granted. Our family views disability as a strength. We are so fortunate to have been empowered by the adversity offered in our experiences growing up and living with Osteogenesis Imperfecta.

Our son, Eli, also has a form of dwarfism, achondroplasia. We look forward to instilling the pride we have in our identities and adding him to our lives, which have been enormously enriched by disability culture. The journey to China is a long-and expensive-one. Few parents like us have made the journey, but we're ready. Please join us in blazing this trail. With your help, we can change the life of a little boy and bring our family together. Follow our journey at www.ayersadoption.com.
