About this campaign
Please help us help the mama dogs on the streets give birth and raise their pups in a safe place.
Update: April 29th
Here's Junebug and her seven pups! Thanks to Kathryn and staff at K's Mutt Hut for helping her through a difficult delivery and rushing her to the vet for an emergency C-section. We're all so thankful Junie was safely off the streets.

On April 18th, we picked up dear Onyx from her home in the woods behind a flea market. She was clearly close to giving birth. She went to stay with the fabulous folks at <a href="http://www.ksmutthut.com/Pages/default.aspx" target="blank" rel="nofollow">K's Mutt Hut in Brenham Texas, and we got word that she gave birth to at least nine puppies on Monday, April 21st!

On April 17th, Corridor Rescue Street Team volunteers noticed a cute
scene, a puppy and a kitten cuddled up in a resident's yard. Stopping
for a closer look and a photo, they were shocked to find a litter of
pups in terrible health. Efforts to speak with their owners turned
hostile as the people at the home became angry over one volunteer going
on their property, even with an offer of medical help for the puppies.
In the end, the grumpy residents offered the volunteers the litter of
seven five-week old puppies and we couldn't say no. They were diagnosed
as suffering from advanced staph infection of the skin, intestinal
worms, Coccidia and possible ringworm. Thank you to Dr. Vining and
Meyerland Animal Clinic for squeezing them into his busy schedule so
these angels could quickly get on their way to being healthy, happy
babies.

On April 6th, Rosalie and her nine surviving babies were rescued from a dirty trailer in Houston's Corridor of Cruelty. Mama had been hanging out in a neighborhood and was being fed scraps by a family, so she took up residence in their front yard. When it came time to give birth, she chose a trailer parked across the street on a neighbors property. The children in the area were naturally curious about the pups, but Rosalie warned them away with a growl. The residents became angry and threatened to shoot Rosalie and kill her pups. Corridor volunteers on the street feeding dogs got word and sprung into action to save mama and babies. They were moved to a safe house until a better option can be found for them. Rosalie thanks you for your support!

On April 4th and 5th, three pregnant girls were brought in off the streets.
Sweet Eden, a German Shepherd mix, is due to give birth at any moment. She is a very sweet, loving dog. We couldn't leave her best friend and faithful companion behind, so Ferris came in with her. He is an adorable Heeler mix with a friendly and gentle demeanor.
We also picked up little Junebug, a petite girl who was begging at a Valero. She has a week or two more to go on her pregnancy.
Also, we brought in adorable Delilah, who is about halfway through her pregnancy, and her buddy Samson who has an injured front leg. They were found in a popular dumping ground along with another girl, Elfie, a sweet little Lab mix who is currently at a safe house awaiting intake. Sadly there was a fourth dog in this group who was hit by a car and killed before we could get them to safety.
Thank you so much for your generous donations. You help us help these innocent mamas. Two more won't have to give birth on the mean streets. We still have four or five other pregnant girls on our radar we hope to help soon.

Wonderful cause!
I love the work Corridor Rescue does trying so hard to help the poor helpless animals that are dumped by uncaring people onto the streets of Houston, the 4th largest city in the USA. Our city is a disgrace for allowing this to happen day after day!!
You all do such great work to take care of these doggies, give them love, and a forever home ❤️
