For our teammate that is battling cancer.

I have been with DaVita since May of 2007 and work as an administrative assistant in Region 7 in the Great Lakes region which is part of team Fusion. The past few months have been a nightmare as I was given a diagnosis of breast cancer. I am on my last week of radiation treatments and have been counting the days until I am through with them. Moving forward I find myself financially struggling and trying to figure how I can possibly pay the huge co-payments involved because of all the doctor appointments, tests and radiation treatments. I will not be totally done after this as I will need to follow with another oncologist and medication. I am told my prognosis is good and am looking forward to the future.
