About this campaign

I am moving to Honduras in June to work as a full-time volunteer at the children's home Casa de Esperanza and could really use your help!

In 2012 and 2013, I worked as an intern at the children's home Casa de Esperanza (House of Hope) in Santa Ana, Honduras. I absolutely fell in love with the kids and have wanted to be back with them ever since I stepped off the plane. The children at the home come from all types of broken homes.  Our goal at the home is to show the kids the love of Christ and give them hope for their futures.

There is a story told of a boy who was throwing starfish back into the ocean. When asked why he was doing so when there were so many that he couldn't possibly make a difference, he picked one up, threw it in the ocean, and said, "I made a difference to that one." The motto of Casa de Esperanza is "Making a difference one child at a time."

I ask that you keep the work at Casa and myself in your thoughts and prayers. If you would like to read about my past trip or keep up with the kids and me in the future, check out my blog: http://have-love-will-travel.tumblr.com/
