On our way to WV...Gesundheit!

This group of students watched the movie "Patch Adams" at the end of their freshman year. One student in particular (RV) was genuinely inspired by Patch's message to reach out to others, help those in need, and connect with people. Based on her interest in the "real" Patch Adams, we did a little investigating and found out we could volunteer at his institute in West Virginia. Her enthusiasm spread to the rest of the class and here we are...ready to go! We will work to assist Patch and his crew as they bring their vision of a free hospital to actuality. We are certain the volunteer students and chaperones will be inspired to, as the Gesundhiet website says, "bring fun, friendship and the joy of service back into healthcare". This is an amazing group of students and I am excited to assist them in this adventure. Please consider helping us. Your donation will help with travel expenses to and from WV.
