About this campaign

No girl should feel worthless because of how others perceive her sexuality. Join The UnSlut Project in the fight against sexual bullying and "slut" shaming in our schools, communities, media, and culture. With your help, "slut" won't even make sense as an insult.

For a unisex tee, please click here for your perfect size before ordering.  Also, the ladies tee are very fitted so be sure to check out the sizing here

Your donation is tax-deductible through our 501(c)(3) non-profit fiscal sponsor, Cultural Media Services, Inc.

In 2013, Emily Lindin started The UnSlut Project after hearing the stories of girls who had committed suicide as a result of being sexually bullied. At first, it was simply a blog of her own diary entries from when she was targeted as the "school slut" in middle school. Since then, The UnSlut Project has expanded into a supportive online community where people of all genders can share their own experiences with "slut shaming" (that means making someone feel inferior or guilty for their real or perceived sexual behavior), and where girls who are currently being sexually bullied can seek help and solidarity.
Our upcoming "Slut: A Documentary Film" features women from around North America who survived slut shaming, the family and friends of a girl who took her own life after being sexually bullied, and experts' opinions on how we can move forward. And look for Emily's diary in a book store near you in 2015!

No woman should be defined by her sexuality or have to restrict her sexual choices because society tells her they are wrong.

I have two daughters, ages 12 and 9. Slut shaming is horrible, double standards have brought us to a bad place in this country, and I, as a father, want my girls to be proud of the persons they are.

Slut-shaming and rape culture cost lives. But it doesn't have to be that way, not when we can teach today’s generation to value women's sexuality instead of attacking it. I hope this donation and others will contribute to that future.
