About this campaign

After experiencing the loss of our Ellie this past year, we have learned what a devastating illness cancer is. Ellie received all of her treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and they quickly became like family to us. As the friends and family we want to give back to the hospital that did so much for us! Proceeds from these sales will benefit Team Princess Strong in the St. Jude Give Thanks Walk on November 22nd.

Also known as Princess Ellie. Ellie was diagnosed with brain cancer in February of 2013, shortly after her second birthday. Due to the rarity of Ellie’s brain cancer, we weren’t left with many options, so we choose to take her to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. Over the next 7 months, Ellie underwent two surgeries and 6 rounds of chemotherapy. She was declared cancer free, but in two short months, her cancer was back with vengeance. We brought Ellie home to Virginia in October of 2013 to enjoy the rest of her time here on earth with her family. On December 22nd, 2013, Ellie went to be with Jesus. She left behind an amazing legacy of pink, princesses, strength, perseverance and a love of the Lord. Through Ellie’s short life, she was able to spread awareness of the horrible illness cancer is. We were also able to share the love of the Lord with so many around the world. Ellie is the driving force behind team Princess Strong. As as team, we are committed to participating in events that help raise awareness and funds for cancer research.princessJPG
