About this campaign
The Vaquita porpoise is the
world’s most endangered marine mammal with only 97 left in existence. They live in only in a small area within
the Sea of Cortez between Baja and mainland Mexico. They drown when caught in
gill nets set for shrimp or by poachers trying to capture another endangered
fish, the Totoaba for their swim bladders considered a delicacy in Chinese
restaurants. The Vaquita can be saved if the poachers are stopped and the
fisherman switch to the Vaquita safe trawl nets provided for them by the
Mexican government. Yet, with most
people unaware of the problem, there is reluctance to take these steps in time!
Please purchase this shirt for you or a loved one, and wear it to help us further raise awareness. You can
also make a donation to further the Muskwa Club’s efforts to save the Vaquita. If we can raise awareness of this issue, we
will have a chance to save a species!Let’s work together to do it! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ muskwaclub.org

Supporters
Happy to support those trying to save the Vaquita.
Always support positive movement.
We need to work with the people in Mexico to stop the extinction of this beautiful animal.
To raise awareness about the need to save the vaquita.
These young people are doing a fantastic job of publicizing the Vaquita problem.
It would be tragic to stand by, and do nothing, as another wonderful mammal vanishes, forever! We have a responsibility to preserve these wonderful creatures for the joy of future generations. Please, everyone help any way you can....
The Muskwa Club is working so hard to raise awareness of the vaquita before it's too late. I want to support them both by wearing the shirt, giving them as presents and of course, buying them.
I pray that the Vaquita does not go extinct, I hope this small donation helps.
