About this campaign
We now need YOUR support to help Mr. Bean. His surgery, hospitalization and medications cost us $6000 and we are still going to need to do more surgery on him. We have over 90 dogs in rescue right now requiring our care, so we desperately need YOUR help to cover the expenses of Mr. Bean so we can continue to save more lives. We believe in NO BULLDOG LEFT BEHIND and we knew we would do anything to save Mr. Bean and all the dogs that follow, but we can't do that without your help.

Meet Mr Bean - He was rescued from the Downey Shelter within a couple hours of being euthanized due to his medical status. We found him laying on the ground of the kennel, covered in feces and urine, emaciated at 30 pounds and unable to even lift his head up. Our volunteer got him and rushed him immediately to our vet. He received his first bath and we began trying to figure out what was wrong with Mr. Bean. We weren't even sure he'd make it through the night.
We ended up having to hospitalize Mr. Bean at a vet specialty hospital as he could not keep any food down and was getting weaker and weaker. It was recommended that we do an ultrasound. We discovered a mass and he was immediately sent in for surgery. Mr. Bean underwent a major surgery in which they removed an item that was causing a blockage, which made him unable to keep food down. He made it through surgery and is now recovering. Once he has put on some weight and fully recovered, he will have to go back in for a second surgery on his eyes and receive a neuter as well.
Mr. Bean is truly a fighter. We have no idea how long this blockage sat inside of him, but the doctors said it was long decomposed - he had likely been starving for months, unable to keep any food down... wasting away. Most other dogs probably would not have survived as long as he did. What his owners did is neglect and abuse - it's a wonder he survived it. We are so glad he made his way to us and we were able to save his life.

It breaks my heart that animals are treated this way. When I see one I think of my bull baby Gruden, that could be him. I want to help other animals that have not been lucky like him. Love this organization and rescues like it. True Angels on earth!
because we have four bulls of our own n hate to c any neglected or mistreated they r our lives n my heart bleeds for mr bean who has all our love n support they all do id like to start a rescue someday here in pa stef lain
