About this campaign

Wild For Life Foundation (WFLF) provides lifesaving equine rescue regardless of age, breed or disability. We provide life sustaining hay and feed, urgent care, rehabilitation, education and sanctuary and adoption for needy rescue horses. We are an all volunteer nonprofit 501(C)3 organization and we depend 100% upon the generosity of others to accomplish our mission. Without your continued support we would be unable to care and provide for horses in need.

Our fundraising t-shirt features two recently rescued rare wild Spanish Mustangs -- Guapa was pregnant at the time of her rescue; narrowly escaping slaughter after losing her Native range-land home in New Mexico. She gave birth to her little filly, Preciosa within weeks of arriving to our shelter facility. These Spanish wild horses are among the very few rare breeds of American Mustangs that now find themselves targeted for extinction on their quickly disappearing and threatened Native home lands.

Wild horses should remain free. They belong to ALL American's history, and should not be eliminated by ONE small segment of society (greedy ranchers). Absolutely NO horse should ever go to slaughter. The slaughter pipeline is cruel and inhumane.

I am appalled by the measures that the BLM and government take to roundup the wild horses. The holding pens are over crowded and down right sad! The sale of horses for slaughter sickens me to no end!! It all needs to stop!! Get the word out!!
