Primary Immune Deficiency is a disease that causes the immune system to not function properly. As a result, patients must receive infusions of plasma to boost their immune system. The Immune Deficiency Foundation helps so many patients and their families with their patient support programs, teen escapes where teens can connect with teenagers just like them, and informational programs like their national conferences every other year. They have been helping patients and their families ever since 1980 when the organization was founded by Mrs. Marcia Boyle.
