About this campaign

Hills West and West Babylon laxers face off 4/29 in 5th annual Alzheimer's fundraiser.  Game will be played at HHH HS West at 4:30pm.

Hans Raymond ("Ray") Haugen died five years ago after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease.  At that time, his youngest son, Nils, boys varsity lacrosse head coach at Half Hollow Hills High School West and Hans Raymond Jr., the coach at  West Babylon, where both learned to play, decided to team up in the fight against Alzheimer's, which had already begun to affect their mother, Margaret "Joan" Haugen. Alzheimer's took Ray's life and is currently robbing Joan of her twilight years, but the West Babylon and Hills West communities - which both benefited for many years from their "team spirit" - will not let it take away the wonderful memories we have of our time with them. We remember them in our efforts to make everyone's fondest memories last for their entire lives.
Please help us find a cure!
