Blot_lineupv3gif AtTethered by Letters, we believe in the power of storytelling. This uniqueability should be treasured and championed, no matter a person’s background, age, or education. We provide the tools to help an international community ofwriters master this craft and offer a number of free programs to helpemerging authors and students.

OurFree Editing Program:Working one-on-one, our editors help emerging writers through multiple drafts. We coach new authorson craft and style with the goal of creating polished, high-quality work that can be published in our print publication,F(r)iction, or our online journal,The Wr(ink)le Review. And what does our staffcharge for such an invaluable service? Nothing.Moneyraised from thisCommunity Fundraiser will allow us to expand our editing staffand keep this vital resource free to all passionate writers.

OurYouth Writing Program
:TBL’s Youth Writing Program partners with high schools across the country to supplement creative writing classrooms and teach students about thepublishingindustry. Through guest lectures, community workshops, and student-only writing contests, the Youth Writing Program teaches students how to succeed as professional authors. Money raised from thisCommunity Fundraiser will allow us to purchase much-needed supplies forour volunteer staff.

OurInternship Program
:After graduating, students face the daunting task of applying their knowledge in the workforce. Tethered By Letters' bi-annual paid and unpaidinternships give students essential experience needed to bridge this gap. With enough money raised from thisCommunity Fundraiser, we can expand our number of paid internship spots and enhance the opportunities weprovide our interns this summer.
