Helping C.A.R.E for Bob!

Bob is an abandoned, injured cat rescued from the streets. The Center for Animal Rescue and Education (C.A.R.E.) in Acushnet, MA stepped up to take Bob in and provide him with the medical care he needs, and will continue to care for him until he can be adopted. Half of Bob's tail was missing, and he needed surgery to have the rest of his tail amputated. Bob came out of surgery like a champion, is a very sweet kitty, and is very happy to be off the streets! Funds raised from this campaign will go to help defray the cost of Bob's surgery, as well as any ongoing care he needs. C.A.R.E. is an all-volunteer, non-profit, no-kill shelter that takes animals who normally would not be taken in or do well in a traditional shelter. As a result, we often have huge medical bills due to many of these animals needing extensive treatments such as limb amputations, eye enucleations, etc. We rely solely on the generosity of the community to continue their mission of saving homeless pets.
