your work is important.
Wrongful convictions ruin lives. Our cj system is so messed up. Many of the forensic techniques have no scientific basis and are highly subjective. We need national standards to prevent innocent people from being incarcerated with faulty evidence.
There needs to be more awareness about the Innocence Project. This may not be much, but every little bit counts.
My brother, Steven Barnes, was exonerated in 2009 thanks to the amazing efforts of the wonderful people at the Innocence Project. They gave us our life back.
Until our system is perfect there should be people in place to question it. I support those questions and the people who ask them.
For all those Who Are Innocent In the Past, Now, and in the Future.
The most honorable organization that has dedicated themselves to ensuring the justice is provided to all Americans and that their legal rights are held. True representation of honor, integrity and "doing the right thing!"
The fight for justice!!
I've always had a fear of prison. I feel like the only way I would end up there is if I were wrongfully accused. It's heartbreaking to know that innocent people are and will be living that fear. Though it's not much. I want to give what I can.
