In Tara's own words:
"Through tears of sadness I write this post. After a courageous fight, my husband and love of my life, Nathan lost his battle. His heart could not take any more. He was surrounded by family and friends. God took the greatest thing I could have ever asked for. Nate was my world and my rock and completed me. I know in my heart he was and would have been the best father. Now I know he will be looking over the boys and I. Nate was an incredible person inside and out. He had a way of making everyone laugh with his infectious smile and great sense of humor . We might not have been together for a long time but I would not change the last four years!! He may not be here for the birth of his children but they will know him and his legacy will live on through them.

I had the pleasure of working with Nate. He was one of the nicest, most caring individuals and will be dearly missed.

I went to high school with Nate, and when my son was born with a congenital heart defect, Nate gave me hope for my son. He is an inspiration, much love and prayers to his family

I met Tara at a Thirty-One Party recently and remembered her because she said she was having twins and she was ordering one of our personalized pillows with her and Nate's wedding date. I am heartbroken over the news of his passing. God Bless them.
