About this campaign

Derick Gilmore was involved in a diving accident in a pool at Myrtle Beach. He jumped in a pool, and hit his head on the bottom, fracturing his C5 vert intake. After hitting his head, he was floating in the pool paralyzed.A friend, Jake Cagle, pulled him out of the water. If it had not been for Jake, and our gracious God, Derick would not be with us today. A friend of ours wanted to buy the 5 of us, Derick, Payton, Isabella, Tracy, and myself, a t-shirt to support Derick. A few other people showed interest of wanting a shirt, also. That is why we decided to put it online, so that whomever wants one, would have a chance to get one. Please do not feel obligated to buy a shirt. However, if you do want one, someone mentioned that we should take pictures of ourselves and hashtag them. Now, I have to be honest. I don't know how to create one. I was thinking it should be #TeamDerickBreakingTheChainsOfParalysis. I don't know if that is too long or not. Hopefully, someone can help me with this task.

He is currently paralyzed from the chest down, and is in intense rehab in Charlotte, NC. Everyday we see some sort of improvement, and we are very encouraged. Please keep our family in your prayers.
