Thank you for inspiring me!
Mr. Haddix was such an important teacher in my life & I'm so thankful our paths crossed. ️
I knew this great man for a short period out of two summers at fosters music camp. His knowledge and love for music go beyond words. And his love for teaching it was the same. Amazing man... Truly missed.
The first time I met Mr. Haddix was my senior year of high school! He complemented my solo in a competition & urged me to attend EKU! The music program wasn't in the cards for me, but the people were! Such great talent & special friends to me!
When I think of Ken Haddix I can't help but smile, because there was never a dull momdnt when he was in the room. I remember standing in his office playing a duet with him, and feeling so blessed to be able to play beside such a wonderful musician.
Dr. Haddix was a huge musical and personal influence to us starting in high school via Foster Music Camp and continuing to EKU years.
Music is very important to me and so was Ken (Kenny) Haddix. Family and friends who really knew him called him Kenny. We grew up together. We were family.
