About this campaign
Cardiomyopathy is a leading cause of death among many breeds of dogs, not the least of those is the Dberman Pinsche. A Doberma affected bythis disease is likely to experience abnormalities resulting in congestive heart failure or sudden death. North Carolina State University - School of Veterinary Medicine is currently conducting encouraging research to idntify additional genetic markers for this disease.
Monies raised by this boster campaig will be tareted specifically to help fund that important on going research.

We have to do something to stop this disease from taking our beloved dobermans, especially at such young ages.
We have had 3 dobes to cardio. We want to help stop this disease.
I've had 4 Dobermans in a row that had cardio, the most recent 2 were diagnosed at the age of 3. Enough already! We need to get rid of this horrible disease!
I own two male Dobermans and they both have been diagnosed with DCM this year.
I am so glad I got to see Mike & Tex (& Zeva) run last month. You couldn't help but smile while watching this amazing team. I am so very lucky to have a Tex pup. . . who is definitely her father's daughter.
I had the pleasure of handling Tex to his conformation championship. He was a 100% dog who gave his all to everything he did; his joy in agility was infectious. So very sorry for his loss.
For the love of dogs
I own Dobermanns and have one now that is positive for Cardio
