US HOCKEY PLAYERS SUPPORT OUR TROOPS IS A FAMILY SPONSORED PROGRAM (Since 2007) THAT RAISES FUNDS TO SUPPORT OUR TROOPS THROUGH SEVERAL WAYS: WE DONATE DIRECT TO GOLD STAR FAMILIES, DONATE TO PROJECTS SPONSORED BY OR SUGGESTED BY GOLD STAR FAMILIES, TO PROGRAMS THAT HONOR & REMEMBER OUR FALLEN HEROES & TO SUPPORT OUR MEMORIAL CARE PACKAGE PROJECT THAT SENDS ITEMS TO DEPLOYED TROOPS AROUND THE WORLD IN HONOR OF INDIVIDUAL FALLEN SERVICE MEMBERS. (A Gold Star Family is the immediate family of a fallen service member)
