Rett Syndrome is found in 1 out of 10,000 girls and even more rarely in males. In fact, Rett syndrome is a rare non-inherited genetic postnatal neurological disorder that occurs almost exclusively in girls and leads to severe impairments, affecting nearly every aspect of the child’s life: their ability to speak, walk, eat, and even breathe easily.

 My sister, Nisreen, is diagnosed with Rett Syndrome. Although Nisreen is 100% dependent on the care of others and cannot verbally communicate properly, she understands far more than one would imagine. I have created this t-shirt and Booster fundraising page to speak for the girls with Rett Syndrome, like my sister, who cannot speak for themselves while spreading Rett Syndrome awareness and fund Rett Syndrome medical research.
