About this campaign
In 2007, over 50 pit bull type dogs were rescued from Bad Newz Kennels, Michael Vick's dog fighting operation: Layla, Ray, and Oscar were among this group of Survivors.
After Vick lost the property, Dogs Deserve Better purchase it and transformed it into a rescue and rehab center for dogs in need. DDB would like to honor all the dogs that suffered on that property by planting a tree on site for each dog.
We, the families ofLayla, Ray, and Oscar, would like to sponsor our dog's tree and make a trip to help plant it ourselves. Each purchase and donation will go toward making that happen. Any excess funds will be donated to help other dogs in need today.

Im the mom of a rescued pocket pitty found at 6 weeks old near a fight ring bust. Im also a volunteer w/a local pit bull rescue. The Viktory dogs have furever changed how bully type breeds are treated. God bless all who have advocated on their behalf
While much work has been done there is still more that can be done. We continue to support all efforts at eradicating dog fighting and the rehabilitation of these precious dogs.
